Before a debate between Rand Paul(R) and Jack Conway(D), Tim Profitt, Paul's Senate campaign coordinator for Bourbon County, Kentucky, forcefully stepped on the head of a liberal activist with the group MoveOn.org and pinned her face to the concrete. Mr. Profitt didn't like the young woman's sign and disregarded her right to carry it. The Paul campaign dropped Profitt as coordinator and banned him from all future events.
A judge will determine whether to proceed with an assault case against Profitt! (!)
I say the heck with the judge. Save the time and money. Just go to the video tape! The whole nation got to watch the idiot stomp the helpless victim with a vengeance. The guy obviously has anger management issues. I'd hate to be his puppy, his wife, or his child.
The thing is, there are soooooooo many more people like Tim Profitt. Maybe even the judge who's deciding whether to prosecute. Certainly there's enough of a pool to perform a really significant clinical study to try and determine just how, when, and why men become assholes. I guess the problem is: Nobody would volunteer!
